Note Things that make you happy... Reply with quote

So I had an idea, I thought since the first couple months of going without something you are so used to can be tough, everyone can, in one sentence or less, describe something that you know makes you happy (when your sober). Sometimes its the little things that can help us get through a day.

Mine is.... A nice soak in the hot tub before bed.

i always take care of my house and myself a little bit better. its funny cuz i always woke up thinking ''i cant wait to get high then i will have more energy to get everything done'' and i look back and me and my house was always a mess. now REALLY care what it looks like and what i do with myself and that makes me happy.

I miss out on alot when Im using but when Im clean I love to just go out on the front porch and take a deep breath and look around me and become consumed by my surroundings. There's nothing better than a beautiful day, That's what makes me happy and helps start my day. Smile

A cuppa hot, steaming, delicious and relaxing caramel-vanilla tea and an engrossingly guilty-pleasure-ridden novel/stack of tabloids/television primetime soapy drama ala "Desperate Housewives"-slash-"Grey's Anatomy".

Yum.
