I live in Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada, and was wondering what the suboxone costs in the U.S.also is it widely covered by insurance plans/company benefits. approx. costs would do, just curious, thanx, Baggie.

The cost varies from State to State. On average it costs $6 to $10 a pill. I've heard that some insurance companies will cover it and some don't. I don't know because I don't have insurance. It's better if you get insurance through a job or school because getting it on your own is very hard.

My insurance is Blue Cross Blue Shield of Alabama....
(now, the price depends on YOUR particular policy, but my policy is this)
If I buy less than 58 Suboxone, they cost me $1.36 each. That comes out to $78.80 or so...
I have an $80 cap, which means, ANYTHING over $80 is covered by them, so 59 Suboxone is $80...150 suboxone is $80.
That's just my policy...

Ive had suboxone with and without insurance. I used to have bc/bs of nc and with my insurance it was only $25 every time i got it filled and $50 for doc appts. Without insurance its ridiculous expensive like$100 for doc appt and about $500 for 60 strips ( months worth)... From suboxforum.com
