Great post. I love reading your stuff about anxiety. When I was still using, I was one of those people that was WAY over-treated for my "anxiety". 6 mg of xanax per day was prescribed to me (and I was abusing that). For a time I thought I'd die without them. How would I deal with all of my anxiety? So I took a leap of faith and learned to meditate. Guess what - it helped! For a while that is, then I came to a wonderful realization. Aside from a couple of panic attacks here and there, the cold hard truth was that I HAD NO ANXIETY. It was just like you said, I couldn't cope with normal, everyday human emotions. I'm doing quite well now, with nothing to medicate my "anxiety" - me - with no higher power and I'm doing just great. Go figure. Very Happy... From suboxforum.com
