Hi

I am new to this forum and I have a doctor related question. I am self tapering off of subs (because all my doctor wants to do is raise my dosage and I want to get off of opiates once and for all) and on my visit to the doctor this month I was given a UA. My question is this can the doctor know how much suboxone I am taking by my urine test?. Does it just show up positive or is there some kind of level in there that can indicate my dosage?. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Joe,

I read a thread here recently that spoke of a specific test that does show the doctor the sub levels. But, I don't know how common those tests are. Many doctors simply do the cheapest UA's possible to show that there are no other drugs in your system and that you're taking the sub. So it really depends on what kind of test your doctor is doing.

I'm really sorry I can't be of more help. This is all I know on the subject; keep in mind it's not from personal experience, just what I've read.... From suboxforum.com
